Corporate sustainability
goes beyond buildings, transport, energy and finance and involves
supporting the wider community and local environments
Cafalo Pty Ltd
is proud to have supported the recently held Ecotourism Australia
International Ecotourism Conference 2006 in Townsville..
This conference
brought together for the first time from around the world a number
of Ecotourism Societies and community delegates.
Cafalo sponsored
a delegate from the Sao Paulo Forest Institute in Brazil to come
to Australia and work with youth of Townsville as part of the Ecotourism
Conference.
The community
delegate was able to support and present at the Urban Nature: Youth
Ecotourism Forum involving Townsville senior school students and
student mentors from James Cook University.
The community
delegate also assisted in the successful international video conference
between students of Townsville and youth of São Paulo held
at Reef HQ, and presented at a landcare community event.
